Men have deserted my soul at a time so crucial
Freinds abandoned me when I look up to their warm embrace
A time of soul meditation have I wept all along under the covers
Bent on fainted kneels in my lonely hours

But it's well and good
For He is standing by my side
I can't drown in the sea of life
I can't be burnt in the blazing inferno
Hello may all rise against my soul
And the pit of hell watch all night for my downfall
I will not shake
For I know He who holds tomorrow
And my destiny He'll keep
He is with me through my saddest moments
I'm not alone

He is with me--to care, protect and keep me from fall
My tomorrow is assured because
He is Lord of the present and the future
He said He'll not leave me alone
And in Him I'll ever trust
For men and friends will always disappoint

But, I know whom He is

NOT ALL ROSY
Instability of life phases
Rosy flashes abeaming the face of being
Ego and pride leading to a downfall
Upward slope a season its last
Never a long chance a man's success endures
Beauty its vanity ensues
Power and authority in vain all counts

But a season nearer draws
Abridging the inadequacies of life
Incomprehensible metarmorphosis of nature's ways
Favouring the evil and bad
Rage in mind a mindless result yields
Quietness of a humbled soul-foolishness its counterparts counts
Tears aflowing the hard-stricken by nature's inconsistency
Afflicted and pain-soaked
Many a soul languishing in the impoverishment of lack.

A mystery is life and time
Never a time take in plan for the future
But now,
hold in earnest and diligence
Tomorrow a prepared moment it is
Ready to cater for its happenings

A friend i call life
A foe i call time
As its seasons in difference come
Same life be--in favour and unfavourable
Ill and health
All in opposite direction go
Till nature its bell ring
To live ever in the land of absolute quietness
